What is HTML?
Hypertext Mark-up Language is a structured language, it is the most used language on the World Wide Web for creating websites. HTML is a collection of ASCII (plain English characters) text codes, called elements. Elements are used to specify the structure and formatting of web pages. When you create a document you will need move it onto a web server. A web server basically stores your documents and retrieves them when it is requested by a web browser. This leads us to our next topic the Browser.
